Admission Criteria

Admission to the Portland State University (PSU) School of Business Administration (SBA) graduate programs is competitive, based on a prospective student’s ability to meet a range of application criteria. Applicants are admitted to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program (including the eMBA) and to the Master of Science in Financial Analysis (MSFA) program in fall terms only (no admission in winter, spring or summer terms). Students select a cohort based on location, time, and program.  See Cohort Options for more information.

    Each applicant must submit TWO applications – one to the Office of Admissions & Records and another to the School of Business Administration.

    Admission to the MBA and MSFA programs is fall term only - no admission in winter, spring or summer terms.

    Each application must include an original, unopened official transcript from ALL colleges and universities attended except PSU.

    Applicants are required to submit complete application packets. Incomplete packets will be returned. Failure to supply accurate and complete information will subject the applicant to the University’s policies governing academic dishonesty.
