Undergraduate Application Procedures
Step One: Run an SBA Admissions Application on Student Web
- Click the following link: PSU
Information System
- A new window will appear. Enter your PSU ID and PIN
- Click “LOGIN”
- Click "Student Services & Financial Aid”
- Click “DARS” (Degree Audit Reporting System)
- Click “Submit an Audit”
- Select “Business Admin-School” from the pull down menu
- Select “Non-Degree” from the pull down menu
- Select “Business Admin” from the pull down menu
- Select “Bus Admin: Admission Req (DARS)” from the pull down menu
- *Select your appropriate catalog year from the pull down menu
- Click "Run Analysis”
- Click “View Submitted Audits”
- Click “Refresh the List” every couple of minutes until your audit
returns
- Click "School of Business -- Admission Requirements" under the "View Links" column. This will bring up the audit you requested
* You may choose a bulletin year starting with the first term you began college/university (after high school) in the U.S., keeping in mind a bulletin year expires after 7 years. For more information, visit the Choosing a Bulletin Year site.
Step Two: Printing
You will need to print your application audit in order to submit it to the SBA. To do so:
- Select “View Printer Friendly Version”
- Select the print icon on your browsers tool bar
Step Three: Submitting your Application Audit
After printing your application audit, you will need to:
- Fill in the blanks on page one
- Sign and Date page one
- Submit the application audit to SBA Student Services, SBA 240.
To mail the application audit, send it to School of Business - Student
Services, Portland State University, PO Box 751, Portland, OR
97207

Please Note:
- APPLICATIONS WILL ONLY BE
ACCEPTED AFTER GRADES HAVE POSTED TO YOUR TRANSCRIPTS
- If the admissions audit does not indicate that you are currently admissible,
you must first speak to your advisor in the SBA Student Services Office
before the application for admission will be accepted.
- You do not need to submit any additional documents along with the
application audit UNLESS you have not fully transferred all courses
from your previous institutions. If all course work has not been transferred,
you will also be required to submit a transcript which shows the outstanding
course work
Admissions
Admission to the SBA is based on your grades in the lower-division pre-business courses, your transfer GPA (if applicable), your PSU cumulative GPA (if applicable), and your SBA GPA at PSU (if applicable). If all requirements meet or exceed the minimum standard you will be admitted to the SBA for the term for which you applied.

Admission Deadlines
Currently taking courses: Once your grades post for the current term, you may submit your application to the School of Business. You will be admitted for the following term as long as all admission requirements have been met and the new term has not yet started.
Not taking courses: You may submit your application at any time. You will be admitted for the following term as long as all admission requirements have been met and the new term has not yet started.
