SBA General Scholarships

For the 2005-2006 Academic Year*

The School of Business Administration (SBA) invites all undergraduate and graduate students who are admitted or will be admitted to the SBA by Fall term 2005 to apply for scholarships for the 2005-2006 academic year. 

Applications are due March 1, 2005.

To be considered for any of the following scholarships, please fill out ONLY ONE SBA Scholarship application (PDF):

GENERAL BUSINESS

Bi-Mart Corp (UG, GR): Outstanding student admitted to the SBA. Award based on demonstrated financial need and academic merit. Amount: $2,000.

Boeing Corp (UG, GR): Two junior-level or senior-level students admitted to the SBA. Minimum GPA of 3.25. Amount: $1,500.

Tektronix Scholarship (UG, GR): Outstanding junior-level or senior-level student admitted to the SBA. Minimum GPA of 3.5 or higher. Amount: $1,000.

V & M Rupp Scholarship (UG, GR, PBAC): For women pursuing majors in business. U.S. citizenship required. Amount: varies.

ACCOUNTING

KPMG Scholarship (UG, GR): Outstanding accounting student with an interest in public accounting. Minimum GPA of 3.25 or better. Amount: varies.

Meadows Family Scholarship (UG, GR, PBAC): Outstanding junior-level or higher accounting student admitted to the SBA, with a demonstrated desire to pursue a career in accounting. Amount: $4,000.

Retzlaff Scholarship (UG): Outstanding junior-level or senior-level student admitted to the SBA. Award based on demonstrated financial need. Amount: $1,000.

FINANCE

David and Julie Shafer Ernst & Young Scholarship (UG, GR): One junior-level or senior-level undergraduate student and one graduate student admitted to the SBA, with strong SAT & GMAT scores and an interest in Finance. Minimum GPA 3.00 or better. Amount: varies.

HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

Express Temporary Services Scholarship (UG): Outstanding senior-level student admitted to admitted to the SBA. Amount: varies.

INFORMATION SYSTEMS

SIM Portland Chapter University Scholarship (UG): Oregon resident junior or senior level student admitted to the SBA with an interest in Information Systems. Minimum GPA of 3.75 or better. Amount: varies.

SUPPLY & LOGISTICS

Freight Traffic Management Scholarship (UG, GR): Outstanding student admitted to the SBA with and interest in Supply and Logistics. Amount: varies.

Oregon Transfer/ Marcile Bates Cowlin Scholarship (UG, PBAC): Outstanding undergraduate or post-bac students (1-5) pursuing a major in Supply and Logistics management. Minimum GPA of 3.0 or better. Amount: varies.

MARKETING

Stanley I. Winkle Sales Award (UG, PBAC): Outstanding undergraduate or post-bac marketing student. Minimum GPA of 3.0 or better. Amount: $250.
